Thank you so much for posting this! My great grandmother (Ellen Flood O'Brien) was Tim's auntie, and he visited her in Harrison, New Jersey when he travelled to New York in the 1940's for some hurling exhibitions at Ebbets Field. I loved to hear the story that my father John (aka Jackie) and his younger brother Billy (who were young boys at the time) told of how thrilling it was to have Tim visit them and also to be able to see him in action with his team. Alas, I never had the chance to ever meet him (my third cousin). It was incredible to see Mr. Flood perform with his banjo--he and my grandfather (who was a drummer!) had an INCREDIBLY strong family resemblance!!!
