Irish music on computer 35 years ago.

John Lewis plays"Paddy Fahy's reel" on computer.

  1. This is fascinating. I have just been directed here by a former colleague (of John and myself). John had been experimenting with this for a number of years. Yesterday I found a recording of his computer music which I am pretty certain was published in the spring of 1974 and was therefore probably recorded in 1973. See

  2. For the record, two of the musicians playing in the RTE clip are piper Pat Mitchell on the whistle and Maurice Lennon (Stockton's Wing) on the fiddle.
